SLPA Uniform

Uniform is a Must @ Shining Lights as it is also at many other Performing Arts Academies. It is not just to identify our children or advertise our school but to represent being part of an academy that focuses on our students Shining Bright, Being enthusiastic and being a part of a support group. 

Every Member of SLPA will need a branded hoodie and t-shirt that can be purchased directly from us at a very good cost. Each Hoodie is personalised with their name and should be worn as part of the uniform. More information is below detailing what uniform should be worn in each class.

Drama/Acting & LAMDA: 

  The children must wear the SLPA t-shirt, hoodie and either black leggings (Girls) or black joggers (Boys) Footwear must be dark in colour and have no large or bright markings. Jazz trainers and shoes are always a great comfortable footwear to wear throughout all aspect of Performing Arts. 

Technical Theatre Class: 

   Children must wear uniform as shown above. 

Dance Classes:

Little Lights Ballet and Tap are as follows on our dance wear suppliers website, 'Dance Runaway', Please not that bear foot is not acceptable. your child MUST have Ballet & Tap shoes shown on the Dance Runaway Website.

Sparkling Lights, Flashlights and Spotlights dance will need uniform for ballet and tap as shown on the Dance Runaway Website if you chose to begin work on RAD or ISTD dance examinations. 

For our Saturday classes please ensure your child has both Ballet and Tap shoes, wear a girl/boy leotard or as close to the uniform show on the Dance Runaway Website. 

Please not that bear foot is not acceptable. your child MUST have Ballet & Tap shoes shown on the Dance Runaway Website.
